Male Infertility

Asthenozoospermia is the medical term for reduced sperm mobility. This decreases the quality of the sperm and their ability to achieve fertilization. This is, therefore, one of the major causes of infertility or reduced fertility in men. This may be caused by old age but generally is thought to be a disorder rather than the norm.

Male Infertility and Cell Therapy

A study performed in 1996 revealed that men with this condition who received 7 days of cell therapy showed a significant increase in sperm mobility. In the course of this study, thymus extract was added directly to a sperm sample of these men. In both cases, the mobility of the sperm increased. Men who are afflicted with this condition and who want to have children can explore many options. However, this treatment is the safest, most effective way to  restore the fertility of men who suffer from reduced sperm mobility.
