Auto-Immune Diseases

Cell therapies are ideal components in the treatment of autoimmune diseases. The basis of every cell therapy begins with immune modulation. Through the application of thymus extract the immune function may be normalized, reducing symptoms.

Cell Therapies are typically used to treat the following autoimmune disorders:

  • Addison’s disease
  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Celiac disease
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Dermatomyositis
  • Grave’s disease
  • Hashimoto’s thyroiditis
  • Lupus erythematosus
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Pernicious anemia
  • Reactive arthritis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Sjogren syndrome
  • Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
  • Type I diabetes

Patient reports differ as to the effectiveness of cell therapy in the treatment of these symptoms, but the tendency seems to be positive. Below are a few examples:

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and Live Cell Therapy

In one case study, thymus extract was used to test its effect on the cellular immune status of 49 children ages 8-15 suffering from SLE. A week treatment regimen resulted in overall improved health and a reduction of SLE activity. The cellular immune status also improved with  an increase in T-Lymphocyte differentiation. The therapy also resulted in an “elimination and prevention of the development of secondary complications of infections.”

Another study performed on 17 adults with SLE showed an improvement of joint and skin symptoms.
